Spindle Weights: How to choose?

Golding Fiber Tools offers custom designed spindles for customers with a specific design or design idea they would like created for the whorl. The idea goes through a design process, followed by Tom handcrafting the spindle.

Tom can use designs that are special to you, to create a one-of-a-kind spindle. The design for the whorl can be finely scrolled and/or handcarved by Tom, handpainted or scrimshawed by artist Jan Elliott. 12K White Gold Leaf, 24K Yellow Gold Leaf, Copper Mica Powder,and Bronze Mica Powder are optional palettes. Also, in lieu of using our standard bronze alloy ring, we offer a wide range of vintage and decorative rings for you to choose from.
